Modern Dental Technology and Treatment

We use the latest dental technologies and treatments for effective, long-lasting care:

iTero Scanning

Intraoral scanners create digital dental impressions, which we use for orthodontic treatments. The iTero scanner is handheld, which makes it easy for us to use to get a complete picture of the smile. With iTero scans, we can easily plan Invisalign treatment for our patients.

The scans create a 3-dimensional computer model of the teeth, which we send to a lab to create the Invisalign aligners.

CBCT Scans

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) uses divergent cone x-rays to create images of the teeth, gums, and jaw. We use CBCT scans to easily diagnose and treat patients. With these scans, we can find the best places to place implants and restorations. We can also plan root canal treatment with CBCT scans as we can see the inside of each tooth.

Same-Day Crowns

We utilize the E4D Dentist System, a technology that allows us to create digital dental impressions. We do not need to use messy putty to take impressions for dental crowns. The E4D creates an accurate impression of each tooth in just seconds.

Additionally, we use computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to create the crown. Once we take the dental impression, we can view a 3-dimensional model of the impression. Then, we send the computer-aided design to our milling unit. Computer-aided manufacturing carves the crowns from composite resin or porcelain.

Invisalign

This alternative to traditional metal braces uses clear aligners to gradually realign teeth. Invisalign is typically more comfortable than metal braces and offers a shorter treatment time. In addition, patients can remove their Invisalign aligners to eat and drink. Because of this, patients do not have dietary restrictions. Clear aligners benefit patients with mild or moderate orthodontic problems who want to discreetly straighten their smiles.

Dental Implants

Implants are one of the most versatile options for patients missing one or more permanent teeth. Dental implants are durable titanium screws that we place in the jaw bone beneath the gums. Once the implants fuse with the jaw bone, we can attach them to a dental restoration. Implant-supported dental restorations last much longer than removable or traditional options.
